My ipod touch reads as a camera?

i have a itouch 2g mc model with a 4.0 jailbreak and when i plug it in my computer it reads as a camera and says apple ipod under neath it what does this mean and how do i fix it to where i can transfer all my music to my computer? thanks to all your help i would comment but i do not know how to do that on here
